This colorful restaurant is beautifully situated in the redeveloped harbor area of ​​Rotterdam on the ground floor of the Montevideotoren. The interior is stylish, contemporary and a little daring. Every room has a differen interior, the only thing they have in common is that every room has a piece that dates back to the time that the Hotel New York was still the head office of the Holland America Line.

In which restaurant in Rotterdam you can eat and drink better than at Hotel New York? On the ground floor there is a large café-restaurant with a capacity of 400 guests. Thanks to the wide à la carte menu, our guests can eat extensively or simply, in all price ranges and from early in the morning until late in the evening. High ceilings, colorful lamps, sturdy ship elements and robust pipes and pillars characterize the unique atmosphere of the restaurant, where there is always a pleasant atmosphere.

Restaurant Loetje started around 40 years ago as a billiard café. The owner Ludwig “Loetje” Klinkhamer then decided to add a tenderloin steak to the menu which changed the whole future of the café. The café transformed into a very successful restaurant with as specialty the tenderloin steak. The staff won’t ask you how you would like to have you steak cooked, the chef decides how to prepare your steak in the best way to make the flavours memorable (if you don’t have your own preference of course).
